With the summer fading away, exterior house painting might seem a bit far off. Although it is something that can be done. There are however some things that you should take into account. One being the weather, what should you do?
Avoid temperatures that get below 50 degrees. if at all possible don't make big plans days that are potentially rainy and wet. If you need to pressure wash, try follow the same regimen as summer. If you're dealing with mold and or mildew, use bleach, then pressure wash the exterior. After doing that, wait a day or two for lumber to dry. If the lumber happens to be new, wait one season for it to weather in order for the timber to receive stain and/or sealer. Ideally, once the exterior has been Sealed, allow at least a couple days for the product to cure. Hopefully With these few helpful steps, we ensure fall house painting will be made easier than expected.
